How do I reset my browser cache?

Reset your web browser cache; to do so, refer to the instructions below for the type of web browser you are using, (AOL, Internet Explorer, Netscape, Mozilla, etc.):

Firefox:

  • On the menu bar choose TOOLS, then click on OPTIONS from the drop down menu
  • In the Firefox Options dialogue box, click the "Privacy" icon and then click the "Cache" tab
  • If you want, you can change the amount of disk space Firefox uses for cache.
    (The default value is 50Mb, which works fine for most people.)
  • Click the "Clear Cache Now" button to delete files within Firefox's cache.
  • Click the OK button 

Internet Explorer 7.0

  • On the Tools menu of your Internet Explorer toolbar, click Internet Options
  • Click the General tab
  • In the Browsing History area, click Delete ...,
  • Click Delete files... then click OK
  • Click OK to close Internet Option window

AOL

  • From the 'My AOL' menu, on the AOL toolbar
  • Click 'Preferences', Then Click 'WWW'
  • Look for the 'Temporary Internet Files
  • Click 'Delete Files', then click 'OK'

Internet Explorer 5.0, 5.5 & 6.0

  • On the Tools menu of your Internet Explorer toolbar, click Internet Options
  • Click the General tab
  • In the Temporary Internet files area, click Delete Files, then click OK
  • Click OK to close Internet Option

Netscape 4.7, 6.0 & 7.0:

  • On the Edit menu of your Netscape toolbar, click Preferences
  • Click the Advanced category and select Cache
  • Click the Clear Disk Cache button and the Clear Memory Cache button
  • Click OK

Internet Explorer 4.0:

  • On the View menu of your Internet Explorer toolbar, click Internet Options
  • Click the General tab
  • In the Temporary Internet files area, click Delete Files, then click OK
  • Click OK to close Internet Options
