Main purpose of NEWSBUG

NEWSBUG is designed to provide up-to-date aviation news of all kinds. Once downloaded to individual computers, NEWSBUG sits in the right bottom corner of your computer for easy access and is updated frequently via the internet so the most current information is at your fingertips.

The first section serves to regularly inform pilots of FAASTeam safety seminars & events within 100 miles of their zip code. The next section provides information on and links to aviation articles published by Aero-News Network. Any seminar or article can be “clicked” for more information.

What is Needed?

If you have a Microsoft Windows-compatible computer connected to the internet, you can download the software needed to run this program. Just follow the instructions for setting NEWSBUG up.

Who Is Doing This?

Three organizations are joining together to provide registrants with the NEWSBUG so that users from all over can access up-to-date FAASTeam safety information and news topics regularly. Advocates for Aviation Safety Foundations [AFASF]

The Advocates for Aviation Safety Foundation's mission is to work with Kevin Clover and the FAASTeam to promote the WINGS Pilot Proficiency Program and to help save lives by improving the nation's aviation accident and incident rate.
